A difference between Ethereum and Cardano was explained by the crypto exchange Kraken. The exchange highlighted that both the smart contract platforms offer the same thing but have “different philosophies.”

According to Kraken, “ADA emphasizes on research-driven approach to design,” Ethereum was developed to “be a kind of operating system for any number of custom assets and programs.”

At the time of writing, ETH was trading at $2436.37, it was down by more than 22% in the last seven days and was up by 0.33% in the last 24 hours. 

ADA was trading at $1.05 and was down by nearly 20% in the last seven days and up by 2.5% in the last 24 hours.  

Ethereum is the 2nd most valuable crypto asset after Bitcoin in the market, whereas ADA is at the 6th spot.
