While the crypto markets are going through a rough patch, many competitors of ETH are rising. As per the data provided by Electric Capital, “Ethereum is growing rapidly, so are some of the new blockchain projects, which are rising at an unprecedented speed”.
Solana, layer 1 blockchain protocol, witnessed a breakout year, where it rose from $2 and currently is trading at $138.96.
Polkadot, a Cross-chain interoperability protocol also witnessed a huge price surge, where its prices rose from under $10 and currently is trading at $25.68.
Terra (LUNA) the ninth-ranked crypto asset saw a price roar from under a dollar to $71.73, at which it was being traded at the time of writing.
