Over half a million dollars were spent by a large Ethereum whale on the native asset of a crypto derivatives exchange.
As per the resources, Crypto whale purchased 15,720,427 FTX tokens worth $637.14 million in a single transaction.
FTX tokens are the utility token of the FTX crypto exchange, a trading platform for leveraged tokens, futures, and over-the-counter trading.
This sale of the FTX token has taken it to the number one spot in the most bought crypto token in the last 24 hours.
FTX has crossed Wrapped Ethereum (WETH), Tether (USDT), and Ethereum ETH, having average purchase amounts of $132,682 for WETH, $42,230 for USDT, and $30,641 for ETH.
At the time of writing the number of FTX tokens held by Ethereum whales collectively was worth $1.49 billion.
